The SAFS is a non-profit organization dedicated to foster and advance friendship and goodwill between the people of the state of Colorado and Switzerland through social and cultural programs. We strive to serve all persons having a natural interest in the two nations.

Summer is almost here!
We look forward to bringing you some great spring and summer events. Be on the lookout for Pickleball date, represent Switzerland at Global Fest, more info on the Father’s Day Hike on Sunday June 15th and a group camping trip. Check out all our upcoming events under the Calendar tab above.
Upcoming Events
Parade of Nations at Aurora Global Fest
Saturday June 14th at 10:30am
Join us as we walk in the Parade of Nations! Again this year, the SAFS will be representing the great country of Switzerland in the parade, which will include flags and representatives from all over the world. Wear red or a shirt that represents Switzerland! The parade begins at 11:00am, please meet between 10:15-10:30 in front of the Municipal building at the north end. Please RSVP to our Facebook event or on our website so we know who to expect!!
After the parade enjoy the celebration! This multicultural event will include musical and dance performances, food trucks, art displays, international market and activities for children. Visit the event website for more information.

Father’s Day Hike

Join us for our annual Father’s Day Hike! This year we will be back at Deer Creek Canyon Park. Bring a lunch and snacks to join after the hike is over. There are lots of hiking and trail options for all level of hikers.
Meet at 9:30am at the trailhead for a prompt 10:00am start.
SAFS Camping Trip
July 11-13 🇨🇭 YMCA Snow Mountain Ranch, Granby, CO
We’re going camping!! Join us for a camping weekend. This is a members only event, you must be a current SAFS member to reserve a spot. The first five families/groups that RSVP will get their spot for free! Please email us to reserve your spot at info@safs.us. You will need to bring your own tent, food and camping supplies and you will be sharing a campsite with another group or family. Not only will we have a great time outdoors but the YMCA has tons of awesome activities, including hiking, tennis, swimming, miniature golf, skating, fishing and more.
Also if tent camping isn't your thing, but you still want to join us, you can reserve a room at the lodge or in one of the resort's cabins. If you do this please send us an email at info@safs.us and let us know that you will be joining us and reserving your own accommodations. Here is the link for their reservations page.
